The Gauteng Economic Development Agency (GEDA) promotes the Gauteng Province to local and international investors. We strategically portray GEDA as the trusted point of contact for investors who are interested in putting their money in Gauteng, while at the same time selling Gauteng as the best investment destination for business. We develop communication that connects both brands with the top end of local and international business communities. This is achieved through an integrated marketing communication which includes the use of print advertisements placed in local and international publications, outdoor advertising placed at major international airports, branding items used at exhibitions, a corporate video and a television advertisement. |

CITY POWER
City Power City Power supplies electrical power to some areas in Johannesburg. The company was severely criticized by disgruntled consumers who were dissatisfied with frequent power failures they were experiencing. elements developed a communications campaign termed “We’re on it”, to reassure City Power’s customers that the company was addressing their grievances regarding power breakdowns. The company successfully introduced prepaid electricity meters in some of the Guateng base communities. ALEXANDRA RENEWAL PROJECT
This was the first renewal project in South Africa. The Alexandra Renewal Project’s mandate is to improve the living conditions of the residents of Alexandra and restore the dignity of the community. Some of the community members were skeptical to the idea of the renewal project as a result of their experience with the previous apartheid government. The new democratic government needed an agency that would become its mouth-piece and develop strategies and communications that would deliver its good intentions.
elements reached the target market through community mobilized communications that shaped and nurtured the trust between the Alexandra community and the country’s new government. elements conceptualized and developed communication materials; leaflets, posters, outdoor; billboards, project boards and organised exhibitions and events to inform and involve the community on an ongoing basis at all stages of the project development and progress. elements assisted in creating jobs opportunities and skills developments through this project and this made the ARP the most successful renewal project in the country. |

SizweNtsaluba VSP is a well-established South African firm of accountants, auditors and business advisors. elements positioned the firm as the best and most trusted black owned auditing firm in the country. elements also developed relevant branding material for Sizwentsaluba’s Graduate Placement Programme (student recruitment project). These included posters information booklets and other indoor branding material targeted at selected universities around South Africa. |

The NFVF (National Film and Television Foundation seeks to promote South African film and television content at international markets and help raise the profile of South Africa and by implication the industry as a whole. The primary objective of SAFTA Awards was to celebrate, and promote the best films and actors in the country.
elements handled the first South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTA) in 2006. The objectives This spectacular event was broadcast on national television and the company received praises from the minister of arts and culture. Invitations and various stationery items for the event as well as the unique Golden Horn trophy were designed by elements. |

Our service to the Lion of Africa Insurance included extending awareness of the brand to new markets and positioning the company as the leading black-owned insurer in the country. We developed advertising and branding to elevate the entire brand and launched the company’s e-Phambili IT brand, an internal information technology system that provides instant sharing of all the company’s customers’ details. CITY OF JOHANNESBURG
Managers at the City of Johannesburg were concerned about the dirt which was leading to the infestation of disease coursing insects such as cockroaches and rats in Alexandra township. Ideas developed by elements included posters at schools and an industrial theatre to teach the community about the importance of hygiene.
