The music and dance of a particular culture can provide information about the cultural identity and the language of its people, especially if one is familiar with the different cultural groups and their traditions. For instance the warrior-like movements and the formations that resemble semi or full circles during dancing and their method of singing could be recognised as being perfomed by isiZulu speaking people. Traditionally the dance is known in isiZulu as indlamu and is performed by stamping one's feet on the ground
